Political Ignorance is a Disease
“We all are born mad; some remain so.”
–– (Samuel Beckett)
Political atmosphere is almost at its boiling point in Pakistan these days. Every nation goes through such period in their developing time. It helps cleanse the political thinking and democratic approach of the society. Political debates and arguments open citizens’ minds and make them well informed and more connected to what is happening around them and with their country, but in order to intelligently absorb the negativity and convert it to useful output requires basic education, good character formation and compassion toward nation and fellow citizens. If the country’s majority of population is illiterate and undisciplined, such political evolution process creates only hatred and chaos.
In Pakistan where most of the population is illiterate and have a background of thousands years of slavery under different foreign invaders, teaching them about true freedom is a hell of job. Here people refuse to accept their basic human right. They don’t believe when you’ll tell them that you are entitled to be taken care, deserve respect, have dignity, have right to achieve prosperity through struggle and hard work. They have been brain washed so badly that they think that their welfare only lies in obedience and being remain submissive.
I read on the social media and also heard from many friends that it is useless and in fact impossible to talk to and try to convince the PMLN supporters, to make them understand the prevailing political situation. Finally I experienced it by myself couple of days ago.
Free from influence of any political party and free of any kind of political hatred, when you try to tell the PMLN supporters that somebody is talking about our rights; rights as citizens, human rights, social problems, energy crisis, national economy, national unity, future prosperity, eliminating corruption from the country, strengthening justice system, etc. and ask them what is your opinion about that. You’ll be shocked to hear their reply. Every time, every time they’ll reply the same “Don’t you see what is happening in Islamabad, don’t you know what is happening there, women are dancing on songs, women are dancing with men, boys & girls are dating at political gathering, whole world is watching, what a shame.” You will reply like, ‘yes brother I know, but what about the cause they are fighting for, what about the issues they are discussing, what would you like to say about that.’ The reply is “Don’t you see what is happening in Islamabad…………….. (Blah blah)” Every time the reply will be the same. It’s like they have become Zombies, and the PMLN has injected some kind of hallucinating drug into their bodies which has numbed their brains, so they speak the same sentence over and over again, million times with no understanding of anything else. –– If they have not been Zombified, they sure are misbehaving, they probably know that average Pakistani is super sensitive, in fact more than necessary sensitive about the religious issues and matters related to women, so they try to black mail you, corrupting the reality with false acquisitions. They behave so dumb that it is hard to tell they are really that much idiot or they are faking it to divert the attention from main topic. –– Probably both, numb skull and criminal minded at the same time.
By accusing respectable men and women from respectable families with such acquisitions reflects and dirty mentality of PMLN supporters, it proves how wrong they are, how dirty, negative and corrupt minded they are. All they see is negativity, they don’t understand why they are protesting there, they don’t hear what they are saying there and they don’t want to realise what they are discussing there.
Those women at PTI political convention are actually party members and fans, supporting their brothers and sisters at leadership, celebrating the success of their struggle, cheering on national songs, patriotic poems and party songs. Nobody is having party there. They have come from different cities to support their leader. They are there for their fellow citizens, for the betterment of the nation and country. The participants changes every day and every week. As soon as their turn comes up they arrive and donate their time to support the cause.
Even if you disagree with the way of PTI protest, you cannot justify the way PMLN supporters treat, talk and comment on PTI female workers. There are women and young girls, our mothers and sisters, nation’s pride, just like you have mother and sisters in your families, would you like to hear such comments about Your family members? You cannot comment on them like that. Have some dignity, have some respect, for them, and for yourself.
I strongly condemn every ignorant maggot belonging to any political or non political group for misbehaving like this. And salute all those men, women and children for taking step for the betterment of our society.
“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events. He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”
