Personality Cult

Mr. Nadeem  Paracha’s article in DAWN May 14, 2017 refers. It is not clear at all what Mr. Nadeem Paracha wants to convey to Pakistanis. Copy of the article is appended at the end of under mentioned lines.

Personality cult, though profusely practiced in most of the Asian countries, is serious abuse to Mankind’s self respect. No Quantum of knowledge can cure it except concern for the understanding of mankind’s dignity. Why do we worships Mr. Jinnah who could not contribute an iota to forestall the massacre of more  than a million innocent human beings in spite of Punjab’s British Governor’s warning about what was about to happen in the near future. There is no doubt that the massacre could very well be successfully and completely stopped with a very primary category of strategy.

What had been said and what had not been said must be left aside. Let the people of this section of territory named Pakistan, decide their destiny.

You have to decide whether you would like a calm and peaceful Pakistan or you need a Pakistan with perpetual turmoil leading to extinction.
